Why I fit this moment.
I am a Realtor, a local volunteer, a husband, father, and grandfather. I have sat with families trying to make hard housing decisions. I have served in community spaces where the work is often messy, quiet, and necessary. That is the kind of leadership I respect.

I understand the pressure families feel when rent, mortgages, and growth are moving faster than wages and planning.
Utah’s Future
Water, the Great Salt Lake, air quality, and responsible growth are not side issues. They shape our economy, health, and future.
Trust Across Disagreement
I do not expect everyone to agree with me. I do expect people to know I listened, studied the issue, explained my reasoning, and stayed open to better information.

Affordable Housing
More housing options, better planning, and policies that help first-time buyers, working families, and lower-income residents.
Election Reform
Voting systems that give more people a meaningful voice, including voters who do not fit neatly into the two-party machine.
Fair Districts
District boundaries should serve voters, not political insiders. Representation should be earned, not engineered.
Checks and Balances
Utah needs strong separation of powers and an independent judiciary that is not punished for doing its job.
Water and the Great Salt Lake
Growth must be responsible. Water conservation and the future of the Great Salt Lake affect health, jobs, and quality of life.
My promise to District 13.
I will not pretend politics is simple. It is not. Real leadership means showing up when the answer is complicated, the room is tense, and the easy soundbite is tempting.
I will listen before I explain.
People deserve to be heard before they are answered. I will ask questions, listen for what is underneath the concern, and make room for quieter voices too.
I will check the facts.
Bad information creates bad decisions. I will compare sources, question assumptions, and change course when better truth appears.
I will explain my decisions.
You deserve to know what I considered, who I heard from, and why I voted the way I did.
I will stay grounded.
The moment a leader stops listening is the moment they start losing the right to lead well. I will keep my decisions tied to the people affected by them.
